Breeding LIfe into Bought Materials.
Thought id do something a little different and put some befores and afters of a beads life:). I am doing some sets for a Exabition later this month and as i complete them il put on this page what the different colors and materials that make up each set are. Il also do the findings. First as i buy them then as the finished items before going into the sets.

This image shows the materials as i get them sent to me. Obviously some are used. First i have the glass which is (coe104) the colors Dark Ivory, Silk, Clear, Sage Green and Bluino. Second we have the sterling silver in its different forms before i take the weekly frustrations out on it with a big hammer. Lol sorry. There is the Half Hard round wire 1.2mm which make up the eyes that the beads are on and the clasps and the two different sized round tube which have been cut in half and flattened to make the links and the hanger for the Focul beads.

Here we have the finished Necklace, which has been taken from the dead, cold and lifeless bought materials. Then brought to life with heat, concentration, passion and a idea which was born from standing on a Jetty looking into the sea for some inspiration. Over the next 10 days il have two more sets for the same exibition. Which i will also put up the materials i use and the end result. Seagrass still needs the ear rings and bracelet put in. Thank you for looking.
Regards
Andrew.

This Image shows the different components that ive made with the Sterling Silver wire and tubing. I use tubing rather than flat as i can use it for two purposes ie Sterling Silver inserts for beads and also the types of things you see here.
Image # Three
Here we have the finished beads with the three beads in the centre which make up the focul set. The colors are dark im afraid il have to get some better ones from the bracelet when its done as they are very pretty and three dimensional to make it look like you are looking into the sea at the seagrass on the bottom.
